Objective

professional development and exchange of experience of pedagogical and scientific and pedagogical staff, providing participants with relevant knowledge and practical skills necessary to understand the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on scientific activities and adherence to the principles of academic integrity. The advanced training is aimed at addressing the ethical, legal and methodological aspects of using artificial intelligence in scientific research, as well as at increasing the competence of participants in preventing academic violations related to the use of the latest technologies.

Module 1

Introduction to AI platforms and tools

(30 hours, 1 ECTS credit).

Topic 1.1. The impact of AI on the efficiency of a scientific and pedagogical worker

Topic 1.2. Overview of popular platforms (Google AI, IBM Watson, OpenAI, etc.)

Topic 1.3. Choosing and setting up tools for data analysis

Module 4.

Academic integrity and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Ethical principles of AI integration into educational and scientific activities

(30 hours, 1 ECTS credit).

Topic 4.1: Academic integrity and artificial intelligence technologies. Problems of academic integrity in the context of the development of artificial intelligence technologies. Formation of an academically virtuous educational environment in the context of digitalization of society.

Topic 4.2. Ethical code of use of AI in research and education. Policy of ensuring the quality of education, academic integrity and ethics in the implementation of AI.

Ensuring the academic integrity of research activities of a research and teaching staff in the context of AI development.

Topic 5.3. Using AI to improve the quality of scientific research.

Module 6.

Integration of AI into the educational process on the basis of academic integrity.

(30 hours, 1 ECTS credit).

Topic 6.1. Application of AI in education: ethical aspects of AI use.

Topic 6.2. Using AI to automate the educational process. AI as a digital assistant of the educator of the new millennium.

Topic 6.3. Methodological principles of training students to use AI. Intelligent learning support systems (Adaptive Learning).

Topic 6.4. Training cases and practical classes on the use of AI in distance learning.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Shestakovska Tetiana Leonidivna – Rector of the Chernihiv Institute of Information, Business and Law, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor;

Maryna Yachmenyk is a PhD in Pedagogy, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, Head of the Infomedia Literacy Laboratory, mentor at the Ukrainian Saturday School (Ghent, Belgium), educational trainer, certified media literacy trainer (Academy of Ukrainian Press, Ukraine), winner of the Young Scientist of the Year-2021 Competition of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Based on the results of the advanced training, a Certificate of completion of scientific and pedagogical advanced training will be issued, which is a document confirming the completion of advanced training in a scientific institution in an OECD country for the title of associate professor, professor and senior researcher in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 19, 2015 № 656 “Some issues of implementation of Article 54 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Higher Education’ (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 173 of 02.03.2016, No. 308 dated 25.04.2018), Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 13 dated 14.01.2016 “On Approval of the Procedure for Awarding Academic Titles to Research and Scientific and Pedagogical Employees” (advanced training, which confirms their international experience with documents (certificates, certificates, diplomas, other documents), in particular, advanced training in a higher education institution, scientific or scientific and technical institution in an OECD country).
