Before being recommended for publication in the journals of the Eastern European Union of Scientists, all articles must undergo a double-blind peer review procedure, when the authors do not know the reviewer and the assigned reviewer does not know the authors. The review period usually does not exceed 30 days. One article is reviewed by two specialists who have a scientific degree and scientific achievements related to the scientific direction of the article.

During the review process, author’s manuscripts are selected for publication and specific recommendations are made to improve them and increase their scientific quality. The review procedure is intended to provide an objective assessment of the content of the scientific article, compliance with the requirements of the journal and is carried out for a comprehensive analysis of the existing shortcomings and advantages of the manuscript materials.

Reviewers fill out a standard review form, recommending the article for: posting on the journal’s website without comments, layout and posting on the website after eliminating minor comments and without returning to the reviewer, publication on the journal’s website only after revision, eliminating comments and returning the corrected version to the reviewer, rejection of the article with a justification of the decision to the authors.

If one reviewer recommends rejecting the article and the other recommends publishing it, the responsible editor appoints a third reviewer, and on his or her recommendation, the editorial board makes the final decision to reject or publish the article. If the article is rejected by both reviewers, the manuscript is withdrawn and not accepted for publication.

Members of the editorial board cannot enter into a discussion with authors whose articles are rejected after review.

In the case of a review that requires corrections to the article, the author must take into account all the comments when making changes to the text of the article or argue why such changes cannot be made. The updated text of the article should be accompanied by a letter of response to all comments with explanations of the changes made.

The time of acceptance for publication is fixed by the date of receipt of a positive review with a recommendation for publication.

All manuscripts received for review are confidential documents.

Reviewers’ comments cannot be published or disclosed in any way.
